Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Mucus Discharge And Sometimes Hardness In Stool?
Sometimes my stool has stool colored slime in it. I have inflammed gallbladder and a inflammed kidney on my right side as well. Could this be related? Sometimes my stool is hard and other times not. Sometimes thin sometimes not. Any suggestions?
You may be having intermittent constipation with loose stools. I think you may be suffering from Irritable bowel syndrome mixed variety, constipation or gallbladder problems may also give the above problem.
Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Also, avoid dairy products, and gluten contains food.
If symptoms not improved, then please consult your gastroenterologist so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
