What Causes Mucus Filled Vaginal Bleeding While On Paragard?

I have had my paragard in for about 8 months now and I am having a lot of stringy blood tenged discharge that almost looks like old blood and I usually only see this when I go to the bathroom or notice my panties are wet. My period was also 2 weeks late once and I have more pain during sex than I normally would. What is this? All I hear is its normal. What would cause it I also have a 9 month old baby and am 21 years old

Understand your concern.
Paragard is a copper containing IUD.
Reversible contraception, used for 10 years.
It make cervical mucus and make conception unfavorable.
I think It is side effects of paragard that stimulate mucus discharge

Following are the side effect:
1. Irregular menstruation
2. Cramp pain
3. Dizziness and headache
4. Infection: most common gonorrhoea and chlymadia which lead to Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).

If problems continue, check your hormone profile and consult doctor.

1. Wash your vagina with this water twice a day for two to three days with warm water
2. Wash your vagina with concentrated salt water whenever you feel the itch. This will give you great relief instantly and prevent further multiplication of bacteria.
4. Antibacterial/fungal talcs: apply candid powder
5. Keeping The Vagina Dry (Not wet, clean well)
6. Wear pure cotton Loose inner wear
7. Also take antibiotic
You should use following single dose treatment:

1. AZEE 1000 mg (AZITHROMYCIN)
2. TINI 1 G (TINIDAZOLE)
3. ZOCON 150 mg (FLUCONAZOLE)
