Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Received a light but brisk blow to the left side of my head. No bruise, no soreness, no dizziness, no loss of consciousness, but my right ear now feels stopped-up . Hearing is not as good + tinnitus-like noise. (i had a similar event many years ago and the ear problem went away after an hour or so. Not so this time) I have no other symptoms. My ear feels kind of like it would changing altitude rapidly but it doesn t pop . Thanks!
Hello, The blow to the head could have caused damage to the nerves to the ear or to the ear drum. The only way to figure this out is to see a doctor and have them do some exams on your ear. This may clear up on its own but if it is not you really need to see a doctor. Regards
