What Causes Muffled Hearing Upon Usage Of Ear Drops?

I have an ear infection I got an antibiotic shot my ears were fine however with the ear drop they are hurting really bad. After the ear drops my ears are a little muffled and when I press on the them with my hand they make a squeaky sound what do you suggest??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that muffled hearing along with Squeaky sound on pressing during ear infection seems to be due to fluid accumulation behind the eardrum..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy, x ray or MRI Scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be advised accordingly..
You can be advised a course of strong antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen,decongestants oral as well as nasal spray..
Do steam inhalation..
In case if there is no resolution surgical drainage of ears by putting a small incision through the eardrum can be done and drainage can be done..
Avoid excessive water exposure to the ears as well as avoid exposure to loud sounds..
