I have developed multiple clots in my basilic vein of my left arm(dominant). I am a 68 year old female with a negative hx of clots except for DVT s while pregnant over 40 years ago. Meds include tx for HTN, Depression, GERD. Retired registered nurse ....

The development of blood clots or thrombosis may be caused by a variety of aetiological factors which include uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension, obesity, peripheral vascular disease,myxoedema,atherosclerosis,hereditary and certain unknown causes.
