What Causes Multiple Lymph Nodes In Lungs While Suffering From Pleural Effusion?
Sir I ve been suffering from pleural effusion on left side of lungs nearly 1litre fluid was removed by consultation of dr vivekan pillai i took moxifloxacin-500mg and pantoprazol and domperidone40+30 for 4months but in my left ear after4months i developed lymph node and with the 4 months treatment theres only 5cc of fluid in my left lung but due to lymph node dr said me to take macox plus med with above 2 med for 2months. 45days are complted but my lymph node is not disappearing what shalll i do
* As per my clinical experience, the lymph nodes in the hilar region of the lung is secondary to inflammation of the lung parenchyma via significant pathogens as strep pneumoniae, pseudomonas or others.
* The usual time period of lymph nodes to revert back to normal physiologic size is around 3-4 months of complete regression of primary infection.
* If the lymph nodes remain enlarged with persistent size throughout this period, one must be vigilant for the diagnostic thoracoscopy and excision biopsy of the lymph node for further work up and management guidelines.
