Why does my child sneeze multiple times as he's waking up? It doesn't matter the time of day. It's nap time and in the morning. It's basically what wakes him up. He is almost 5 years old. I have been contemplating getting him screened for allergies but unsure of which testing is more accurate. Scratch test or blood work. He always seems to have a hard time breathing from his right nostril as well. I could actually see inflammation inside his nostril and the membranes from either side in the back were almost touching each other.
