What Causes Muscle Ache After Removal Of An Enlarged Lymph Node?

I recently had an enlarged lymph node removed. The pathology report showed necrotizing granulose lymph tissue. According to the CT scan there are more enlarged nodes and possible cysts on my ovaries. I was DX with fibromyalgia about 10 years ago. I went to see my rheumatologist and had extensive blood work done. The only abnormal was a High IGE at 336. I have been more fatigued and having more joint an muscle pain for the last month. I am waiting to be scheduled for another Ct and PET scan. Any other test recommendations?

Hello,

Considering all your medical history, I recommend you to do an interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) release assay because I suspect that your enlarged lymph nosed are with an tuberculosis origin.

Anyway i suggest to talk with your treating doctor about all the necessary test,to reach the right diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Elona Xhardo,
