What Causes Muscle Ache While On Atorvastatin And Lisinopril - HCTZ?

I have been taking Atorvastatin 20mg and Lisinopril - HCTZ 10 for a week (high Cholesterol and Blood Pressure) and I have experienced sore muscles and aches and pains . I was advised by my doctor to try taking Fish Oil and it helps a little. I don t like these symptoms and want to know if there is another drug you would recommend.

I can understand your concern.
HCTZ (hydrochlorthiazide) is diuretic in nature. It can cause cause low sodium (hyponatremia) and low potassium (hypokalemia). Both these can cause cause soreness of muscles. So get done serum sodium and potassium levels. If low, you will needed supplements.
Atorvastatin can also cause similar myalgia. So you can replace it with Rosuvastatin. Rosuvastatin is devoid of myalgia.

please provide your blood pressure so that I can suggest medicines.try rosuvastatin 10mg instead of atorvastatin
