What Causes Muscle Ache While Suffering From Diabetes?

I am 54 years old. chronic diabetic, high triglycerides, and border hypertension problems. I am suffering with severe muscle pains, feeling lethergic and unable to attend my duties properly. My doctor advised me to go renerve injection. once in a week for four weeks. Two days back I took one injection, still suffering with cramps. can i take second dose now. Is it advisable.

As you were diabetic, it may lead to different complications like neurological, vascular and nephrotic. Out of these neurological complications are more common which may lead to muscle ache. So renerve injection was a good choice in this cramps.

You can go for following investigations:
1. blood glucose levels
2. HbA1C
3. NEUROLOGICAL EXAMINATION

Coming to treatment part, you have to start,
1. control sugar levels
2. use non steroidal anti inflammatorty drugs
