Hello,

Inflamed muscle in the wrist is commonly due to tendonitis, sprains, bruising, injury and arteritis (RA / OA) or overuse/ repetitive friction. You are suggested to give rest to your wrist and keep it in a comfortable elevated position on a pillow. Cold compress may ease discomfort, you can pressure bandage your wrist lightly, do not make it tight or it will cut the circulation.

Take pain relieving medications like Combiflam or Naproxen, one SOS when required. Pain relieving ointment and sprays work well. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get blood tests, urinalysis, CRP, anti-CCP, RF, esr, etc., to detect the pathology causing the symptoms. You will be accordingly treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
