What Causes Muscle Pain And Weakness On The Left Side Of The Body?

I m on several different high blood pressure medications and recently had a stroke. I m also having muscle pain and weakness on my left side. The stroke affected my right side but now the left side is getting weak and muscle tenderness. I m taking Atorvastatin 8-0 mg., Carvedilol 6.25 mg. Clopidogrel 75 mg. Losartan 100 mg. Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg. Metformin ER 750 mg,. I also have Lupus and I m a Cancer survivor.

Hi,

In my opinion, you should get done clinical examination and MRI of brain to rule out left sided stroke.

Your drugs are appropriate. Just start physiotherapy for left sided weakness. Also get done CRP levels to identify activities of Lupus. You may need immunosuppression if CRP is too high.
