What Causes Muscle Pain, Difficulty In Walking, Reduced Appetite And Dry Cough?
Hello, Yes...a 75 y/o woman has fairly sudden onset of muscle pain, difficulty walking , poor appetite and dry cough. Might have some history of Rheumatoid issues. What do you think? She has been to the ER and some tests have been started. Results not known yet.
Hi dear! Thanks for consulting the Physicians at HealthCare Magic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon. Loss of appetite, low energy, and fatigue, especially in older people Suggest some acute infections. It may be Pneumonia but dry cough rules it out. It can be a digestive system issue. Can be a Hematological (blood related) issue. this can be verified once we get the test results from the labs. Can be Liver issues that also needs verification and screening on Labs. My suggestion is to wait for the labs and come back once Lab e=results are with you so that I may be in a better position to assist you on basis of facts.
May you get very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback to help us assist you in a better way.
Regards! DR. HANIF PHILADELPHIA, USA
