Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I awoke with muscle spasms last evening, back of calves and in front, that have not relented. Up all night and I am wondering if I am lacking Iron or something - I have celiac and know this can cause vitamin and mineral deficiency. Intensely painful. I am a 67 year old woman.
Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer. It is not related to iron but it may be related to magnesium or calcium deficit and you should check these minerals and have supplements if necessary.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
