What Causes Muscle Twitches And Pricking Sensation In Body?

I have been having symptoms of dissociation. Muscle twitches and pins and needles no specific pain however have the feeling that I could faint at any moment and not being aware of my body in space. This is amplified in situations with lots of visual stimulation ie. Shopping centres however is present at other times. Effects my ability to drive and attacks appear to be random but occurring more and more frequently on almost a daily basis. Not a stroke or heart attack both ruled out. CT scan is clear as are a number of blood tests. Not anxiety related / triggered as feeling is present long after I have calmed from an episode. At this point Dr has put the issue down to mechanical nerve / muscle issue possibly from my neck. Have been more active and stretching however not alleviating the symptoms. It is becoming debilitating and whilst I have some anxiety when it occurs which is not helping the situation it is not anxiety related.
