Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thanks for putting up your query over here.
Worsening muscleache,
fatigue,
swollen lymphnodes and history of tick bites point towards tick borne disease like
Lyme disease,Rocky mountain spotted fever etc.
The diagnosis can be predicted based upon your geographical location and your clinical examination findings. The diagnosis can be confirmed by specific
blood test based on prediction.
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Immediate visit to physician so that clinical examination and specific blood test can be done.
usually an antibiotic course containing doxycycline/
erythromycin is prescribed for 7-10 days.
-Have plenty of fluids.
-Wash clothes with insecticide permethrin.
-Inspect body for attatched ticks.
Follow preventive measures against exposure to ticks as follows
-Wearing full pants with socks and full sleeves when you go outdoors.Tick repellent containing 5% DEET can be used.
-Inspect legs and hairy part of body for attatched tick whenever you come from outside.
If tick is found attatched, remove it with forceps applying steady pressure without bending or twisting the tick.wash the area with soap and water(you may talk with health authority in your area to know in detail about tick removal technique)
Hope this information helps.
Thanks
