What Causes Muscle Weakness In Legs And Bladder?

I recently had an MRI which shows lumbar canal stenosis in L4 or L5 with 9mm AP. What does that mean? Nothing was explained. I have low back and bladder problems along with muscle weakness. Standing or walking for periods of time is a great challenge. I don t want to loose complete bladder control but do have double voiding. My bladder and leg muscles continue to weaken Can you give me some insight?

Hello
Understand nerve travels through the spinal cord in the body. spinal cord is set of irregular bony structure in the body which consist some fine holes from which nerves passes. These bony structure provides and support to nerves.
Some time the opening is narrowed and compress the nerve.
Nerve compression leads to affect organ or muscle of the body. Like n your case opening at Lumber 4 and lumber 5 level is narrowed and it is compressing the nerve which is causing the muscular weakness of bladder.

Hope this is clear to you
In case of any query feel free to ask
