What Causes Muscular Pain Around The Site Of Pacemaker Insertion?
Hi have a pacemaker fitted and few times feels like it s up against the skin u can feel it more and on these occasions have had bad muscular pain opposite side of Back or shoulder could it be something to do with pacemaker as it s always opposite side to ir
It seems to be muscular but less likely due to pace maker. As it's subcutaneous or not that deep. Also the pain at opposite site is less likely as it doesn't radiate backwards. Local site infection should be ruled out though at lace maker site.
Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used along with muscle relaxants like Tizanidine or Orphenidine.
