Hi, I ve had some muscular pain in the top of my left arm for about three weeks or so. I have just tried to ignore it and have been doing stretches and gentle movements to stop it seizing. However today whilst I was packing boxes I kept getting a feeling of warm water running down to my hand, very strange sensation. I hand some trouble gripping and lost strength. I have been taking some anti-inflammatory pills, but the pain is there when i move my arm. Please can you let me know if this is something I need to worry about? Many thanks, j
You have pain since three week in arm area. You should rule out any ligaments tear if present in that area. Your physical examination needed and x ray can be done for further work up. Take anti inflammatory medicine and you can do hot and cold compress over that area. You need not to worry but you should be concern and visit orthopedic surgeon for further management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
