What Causes Musculoskeletal Pain While On Evista For Osteoporosis?
I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis several years ago. I ve been taking Evista for this. The osteo is mainly in my lower spine and left hip. Recently, within the past 2 or 3 months, I ve been experiencing significant pain in my elbows, upper arms, knees and thighs. It s getting to the point where just performing normal daily activities is so painful, I m not certain if I can go on like this. I understand that Evista may cause musculoskeletal pain, which I did experience when I first started using this medication, however, this is different.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the condition osteoporosis it self does not have any symptoms, if this is the painful condition you have then it may not be due to osteoporosis, but could be musculoskeletal pain and it can be managed with any NSAID but important is diagnosis, hope this information helps.
