What Causes My Tongue Goes Numb?

4-5 days ago i doubled my anxiety/ panic medication effexor. The other day the right side of my tongue went numb and seems to also be slightly affecting when i smile like some of my muscles aren't responding. I also get a dull ache in my right ear and which kind of shoots down the right side of my neck to my shoulder. I've been researching and i see it could be a pinched nerve, or belles palsy, or stroke. I stopped taking anything last night and it hasn't gotten better or worse just the same. Could this be from my medication increase?
