What Causes Mycoplasma Infection In A Teenager?
Hello. My 16 year old granddaughter has just been diagnosed as suffering from a mycoplasma infection. Without knowing exactly which particular type of mycoplasma bacteria has infected her, might one reasonably guess that she has been sexually promiscuous?

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern. But it is not a thumb rule that mycoplasma will always be transmitted only sexually. Mycoplasma genitalium has highest unprotected sexual transmission mode.
You must also think and explore is she even sexually promiscuous or forced if in case the reason is STD.
