What Causes Nasal Bleeding After Head Injury?

My daughter fell on her head she doesn t seem to have a bump or or bruise, she fell asleep straight after she was very tired from along day of activity anyway, after an hour she woke up with a noise bleed for about 3 mins blood dribbling down. After the noise bleed I brought her to bed she said her head was sore after falling !?? Should I bring her to a doctor/emergency ??

I can understand your daughter concern

after head injury ,even though there is no external symptoms or signs,it always better have alook in side the brain

so bleed from nose may come either from nose it self or from inside the skull

here I would like to suggest ,plz let her undergo once CT scan brain
if there is any underlying problem plz consult your family doctor

if ct is normal you can look for local conditions of nose
head may be heavy and vomings ,or giddiness are dangerous symptoms including fits

have a consultation with family doctor or HCM AFTER CT

IF BLEEEDING PERSIST PLZ PACK THE NOSE WITH gauze ..ok
