What Causes Nasal Bleeding?

Everyday day for the past 6 months I have dripping fluid out of my nose. It feels like a bloody nose but it is clear liquid. When I bend over to pick something up or out of the shower drying my hair or sometimes not bending over at all. What is causing this and should I be alarmed?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Dripping of clear fluid from the nose is not normal.
You have to consult the ENT surgeon or Neurologist for better management of problem.
Following are the cause:
Trauma that damage the brain, meningitis, increased intracranial pressure etc.
Go for following investigations:Beta transferrine test for fluid to confirm CSF fluid, X-ray and CT SCAN of skull.
So consult the doctor and take proper treatment.
Hope this may help you

Best regards
