What Causes Nasal Congestion And Earache?

what would be a reason for continual nasal congestion, sinus , ear pain. Go to see a doctor and the answer they give is always viral !!! Could there be a need for an allergist, ear nose throat. we live in the northeast with not so friendly weather, but this seems like a constant issue for my daughter of 36, all she gets is viral. A new physician maybe ??

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Many causes for nasal congestion and sinus ear pain.
Possible causes are allergy or infection or sinus block with post nasal drip or polyps or anatomical defects of septum etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid allergen, use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.
Use decongestant medication, Avoid cool drinks and freeze water.
If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
