been sick with sore throat and nasal congestion since sat. went to dr tuesday now im on zpak this morning feeling better, by 2;00 had a severe earache.. still dealing with earache. sounds like im under water feels like draining out of ear ocassionaly wipe with a qtip and is pinkish. what can i do to get rid of earache and pain...

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Phenylephrine and nasal decongestant spray containing Xylometazoline. In case if still it does not resolve surgical drainage of ears can be done..
