My 16 month old has had nasal congestion for 7 weeks and was diagnoised with ear infection twice during this time frame. He has been on Amoxicillin for the ear infections and was given cefprozil for sinus infection. His nose doesn t really run when he is up but when he lies down and is sleeping the thick snot comes out his nose.. The pediatrician keeps telling me to use saline but that isn t helping.
