i..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you still have sinus congestion due to fluid accumulation in the sinuses as you are still having sinus drainage and also whistling or squeaking..
It does not looks like
Pneumonia and most probably is due to
Sinusitis only.
It seems to be bacterial infection and Flonase that is a steroid and Sudafed is a decongestant will help but you need a proper antibiotic coverage after a proper diagnosis and treatment plan..
I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view or MRI Scan of x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised a a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine [sudafed], mucolytics like Ambroxol,do saline
nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
Doing saline nasal irrigations can help..
You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing
Xylometazoline or
Oxymetazoline..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Do warm compresses around nostrils..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
