What Causes Nausea, Abdominal Pain And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding?
Hello, my cycle was about 3wks late. I did have nausea and fatigue especially after I had eaten for some reason. I also had very light cramps. I started to have very strong cramps about 3days before I started bleeding and pain in my lower back , hip and abdomen (all on the right side). I did feel very dizzy right before the bleeding began and now I am having rapid and heavy bleeding and pain on my right side of my lower pelvic area. Am I having an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage??
Based on your query, I would suspect primarily ectopic and second a miscarriage.
I would - - get a brief medical history, -do an urgent ultrasound sound/CT scan. - hospitalize you -run basic, relevant blood tests (complete blood count, blood group /Rh, beta Hcg levels and estrogen levels). - give you intravenous transfusions is required.
Based on the findings, I would arrive at a further course of action. You may require a surgery (if it is a ruptured ectopic) or a D&C- dilatation & curettage if it is miscarriage and bleeding is severe)
I recommend you go to the ER right away. Don't drive or eat anything. Don't go alone.
Hope you feel better. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with Wish you good health
