Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a vet tech. I was bitten by a dog at around 9am. The bite wasn t very deep and I scrubbed it with chlorhexidine . u started feeling nauseous around 4pm . do you think it is related. P.s. my last tetanus shot was 18 months ago and the dog was up to date on rabies vaccines
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No, I don't think this nauseated feeling and dog bite are related. You are might be having mild gastritis which is causing nausea. So take antacid (pantoprazole) on empty stomach twice daily. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
