Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I've recently been feeling extremely nauseous and tired on Saturday that just passed. Sunday and today, the two symptoms died down but I can still feel the symptoms floating around. I had a negative pregnancy test, which relieved my stress about being pregnant but I also did experience a stomach infection for a couple of months; I'm on medication but there's another issue- I've also experienced a decreased amount in urination which I was kind of worried about.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history and understood the concerns. Extreme nausea and tiredness along with reduced urine output and symptoms of floating can be due to kidney affection and needs urgent clinical evaluation, examination preferably by Nephrologist and investigations as follows: Blood: Kidney functions, liver functions and CBC. Urine: Routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity. Ultrasonography and further tests as advised. The management here needs to be based on accurate diagnosis and proper follow-up. Do not waste time in symptomatic diagnosis, best to go for proper diagnosis at the earliest.
