What Causes Nausea After Eating Garlic?

I have used garlic powder in pretty much all of my food especially my vegetables. A few months ago, I started having nausea almost continuously. I started elevating things in my diet and I started with the garlic powder. Is nausea a common side effect of garlic powder?

Hello,
Welcom to Healthcaremagic.com.
Yes, garlic causes nausea, mostly the raw garlic is responsible for nausea and garlic supplements are too emmitic in nature.
Too much spices specially the red chillies are also reason for nausea and vomiting because they erode the gastric mucosa. Also the citrus fruits must be lowered for some time in your meals.
Hope this will help you.
Regards
Dr Muzaffar.
