Hello,

Indicates underlying gastritis, duodenitis or gastric/duodenal ulcer most likely gall bladder, liver conditions in other cases. Best way to diagnose it with ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis, upper GI endoscopy.

Salient guidelines for faster recovery:
• Consume more liquids at intervals
• Take small amount of soft, light diet at specific intervals
• Avoid prolong fasting/overeating
• Avoid all oily, spicy, non-vegetarian, and junk foods
• Avoid smoking, alcohol
• Keep foot end of the bed elevated for 30 degrees when resting
• In our clinic, we recommend combination therapy with proton pump inhibitor and Domperidone (if no drug reaction history) to be taken. Morning and evening empty stomach with sips of water 1 hour before breakfast and dinner, antacid syrups.
• Avoid stress/anxiety
• Have regular sound sleep of 7 to 8 hours

Wish you good health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
