What Causes Nausea After Suffering From A Panic Attack?
Gday im a 42 year old male and have suffered my first panic attack about 3 months ago I ve have seen a consellor and she has made me feel better but when anxious I feel nausea and have a dry reaches but I have gone off my food a bit and after bigger meals I dry reach but not vomit.i have had blood tests and a upper abdominal ultra sound and all clear I would like to get this sorted so I can get my confidence back in my body regards Damon
Nausea is a common symptom of anxiety or panic attacks. It is a response to stress, avoid anything that causes you to stress or with what you are uncomfortable with.
Maintain a healthy balanced diet, limit alcohol & caffeine.
Take adequate sleep, do regular breathing exercises, avoid intense or heavy physical exercises, avoid fried, greasy food.
Stay well hydrated, eat smaller meals. You can take the help of a Counselor or physiotherapist.
