General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These symptoms may occur for many causes but Probably he has an episode of hypoglycemia. This is specially true when he is on low card diet and was exercising where sugar can dip seriously down and if symptoms improved with food. This is almost sure sign that it was hypoglycemia if symptoms improved with food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
