What Causes Nausea Along With Burping And Lack Of Appetite?

Lasr June, my son 20 yrs old was sick the morning after going to a county fair...ate a brat. Woke up throwing up and some diarrhea. This went on for a week or 2, then off and on for a month. Went to drs who checked 3 times for a parisite, nothing. Went to GI dr. Blood work, ultrasound, stool samples all clear. He diagnosed Post Enteritis Syndrome, gave him a week worth of a acid reducer prescription (I can t recall the name) . It helped but almost every morning since and sometimes other times of the day he still feels nausea, burpy and is not able to eat until it passes. Can t pin down any food that sets it off. Very random. Ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The symptoms u r telling is most likely suggestive of hepatitis. Get a liver function test done. Along with that visit GI doc once again. also there might be gall bladder issues. Because post infection these issues are very likely.
