What Causes Nausea Along With Diarrhea And Fatigue?

I have been having nausea, diarrhea and weakness daily for the past five months. I am not pregnant. Also, I have been a smoker for many years but in the last few weeks I vomit immediately after a cigarette. Do I have ulcers? I am also sweating and flushed often in the last few months.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, you should quit smoking immediately as it is going to aggravate your condition. You should get yourself checked by a physician as soon as possible. It is possible that you have developed gastric ulcers.

Your physician will advise you a blood work up. He may also advise an endoscopy. Meanwhile, you should stop taking any oily and spicy food. Take an over-the-counter antacid like tablet Ranitidine on an empty stomach for a few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
