What Causes Nausea And Abdominal Discomfort?

I started with severe nausea, no vomiting, some abdominal discomfort. 99.4.. 4 days ago. Since that time I have had explosive diarrhea, continued nausea. I have tried to take as much fluids as I can and am feeling better but still having watery stools. Any thing I put in my mouth goes straight through. I am trying to maintain the BRAT diet. Nausea improves as day goes on. No temp. I am 80y/0 and normally in good health. Other diagnoses type 2 diabetes with normal A1c’s,hypertension, elevated cholesterol, all treated. My question is I am having more fatigue, dizziness. What more can I do or take for this diarrhea? Should I try to advance my diet or stick with liquids. Help, I am impatient.
