Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past four months I have been getting weird stomach problems the week after my period. It starts with this weird bubbling in my throat, and just an awareness that I have a stomach. I wouldn't call it nausea. I just "feel" my stomach. I also become exhausted during this period, and just feel generally crummy. This progresses to having diahrea, and I can't keep anything in my stomach. After about a week, it goes away. I should clarify that I am at very healthy body weight, I exercise, and I eat very healthy food. I have cut out all spicy food. That hasn't done anything. Also, I am not on any type of medication. I have tried omeprazole and byaten(?). They were no help.
