Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Nausea And Diarrhoea Along With Soreness In The Mouth?
I ve been dealing with nausea, some vomiting early on, and diarrhea for about 4 weeks. I ve had ultrasound of my stomach, pancreas, liver etc. and endoscopy and colonoscopy all perfectly normal. I now have some soreness in my mouth as well. Any thoughts?
Nausea and vomiting with diarrhea for 4 weeks is suggesting a malabsorption problem as long as ultrasound and endoscopy, colonoscopy are perfectly normal.
If your gender is a female of productive life stage, then, should consider pregnancy, but ultrasound should have shown it.
Stool examination and culture and sensitivity testing are further advised to rule out candida overgrowth of GI tract.
Oral Swab culture and sensitivity testing should be run to rule out candida thrush.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
