What Causes Nausea And Dizziness While On Aspirin And Folic Acid?
I have Mthfr and factor five leiden. I suppliment with folic acid and aspirin. I ve been feeling bubbles in my left leg toward my ankle. The only way to describe it is like a giggling of blood in your veins. I was in emergency room two days ago, they did a d dime and platelet count and had an ex ray of my lungs. Nothing was found. Prescribed tortidol.the bubbling just started today . I m pretty active . 23 yrs, 233 pounds . I ve been getting dizzy a lot and nauseated. I was prescribed 1 MG of folic acid from my obgyn. I don t think he s that educated in factor five and mthfr. Which I read the daily recommended dose is only 500 mcgs. Too much intake of folic acid could be the result in my dizzy Ness and nauseousness. I think I might cut my intake in half of the folic acid. But the bubbles in my legs are quite concerning .
Based on the history you have shared, the excess of folic acid isn't caused this frequently as it's water-soluble and gets excreted readily and it's not much of overdose you are taking. For reassurance, you can take levels of folic acid to confirm.
However, the current symptoms needs to be evaluated. One Xray is insignificant then Doppler ultrasound of legs is recommended to rule out any signs of blood flow abnormalities.
Levels of D3, B 12 should also be done and replaced if deficiencies.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
