I have woken up from sleep feeling naseous and dizzy with chills. I feel like i have to puke so i go to the bathroom but i fall in the middle of the hallway cause I’m so dizzy. I lay on the bathroom floor after I’m up for a few minutes and the feeling is gone. This is the second time it’s happened.
This type of symptoms may be due 1) Postural hypotension Fall in blood pressure after standing from lying down position. This causes decreased blood supply to brain causing dizziness. 2) Positional vertigo 3) TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack) decreased blood supply to brain. 4) Cardiac arrhythmia
Associated conditions like Diabetes, blood pressure problem, Kidney problems may aggravate condition.
In such a case I may suggest to consult your doctor immediately there is a need for detailed history taking for detailed physical examination. Depending upon it there may be need for following investigations - Complete blood count. - Blood sugar levels. - ECG & 2Decho. - Holter monitoring.
Hope this helps.
