Hi,
Noted the history about your daughter with special needs, throwing up after meals,
dizziness, wax in ears, consulted a Doctor who gave medicines for nausea and
vomiting, lymph nodes in neck swollen.
As you have mentioned the vomiting stopped after rest after foods and with medicine.
It is possible that excessive food can cause nausea and vomiting as satiety level can not be known in a patient with special needs, hence I would advise for small frequent feeds.
Also give a PPI like
Omeprazole.
About the
swollen lymph nodes the cause needs to be found by
ultrasound and FNAC and treated accordingly as nausea and vomiting can not cause lymph node enlargement unless there was an attack of viral infection.
Consult an ENT Surgeon and get the wax removed and see if it helps in controlling few of her symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
