Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I get a weird feeling....I get sick on my stomach, I feel like I am going to throw up, and I get dizzy. I feel like I am going to pass out and I feel like I am having an out of body feeling. It don t last very long but makes me feel tired. I have to think real hard of what I was doing before the episode happened. This has been going on for several years. I have went to the emergency room before and was hooked up to a heart monitor. While hooked up, I had an episode but nothing showed up that anything was going on. I have also had a CT scan and nothing showed. Today I had 3 episodes. The last one before today was about a year ago.
Seems related to transient amnesia episodes with systemic manifestations and suggest underlying disturbance with brain-related amines as serotonin, GABA, acetylcholine or others.
An MRI brain would be serving best guideline rather than CT scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
