What Causes Nausea And Fatigue After Recovering From Shingles?

Yes, I had shingles a month ago and was treated by a doctor but I still experience bouts of nausea and lethargic feeling long after the blisters healed. Is it possible that this is related to the shingles outbreak and if so, will a shot help eliminate these rolling bouts of nausea an blah feeling every week or so. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Shingles is a viral infection.

It may cause severe fatigue, exhaustion, and malaise.

I would recommend using Reglan to relieve nausea.

I also recommend taking vitamin C Supplement to boost the immune system.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
