What Causes Nausea And Fatigue Despite Taking Contraceptives After Having Sex?
Hello, I had unprotected sex a day or so after ovulating. Boyfriend asked me to take morning after pill, but I didn t want to, so I just nibbled bits of it between 48 and 72 h later. Took about half of 1.5mg levonorgestrel tab in total. How effective do you think the pill was? Would it still have worked? Am experiencing symptoms (fatigue, nausea) so am assuming it worked domewgat
Since you are not on regular contraceptive pills & had unprotected sex, you should have taken morning after pill within 72 hours. If you have taken only half of the dose than the efficacy of the medicine will be reduced. You may get pregnant.
If you are having nausea and fatigue you should get physically examined by your gynecologist.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Take care.
