What Causes Nausea And Headache While On Nikki Birth Control Pills?
Hello, I have a problem with my birth control pill. I changed my birth control pill on December 20 2017 and I passed from yasminelle to Nikki and after one week under the new pill I started having nausea, headache and eyesight problem. All these syntoms are written in the collateral effect of the pill. I also have an UTI with vaginal discharge... Now, I was wondering If the UTI may be caused by the pill and if it the case of stopping the pill.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As per my clinical experience, you are having definite side effects of the Nikki pill containing Drosperinone and Ethinyl Estradiol as hormone modulators.
*I strongly recommend to discontinue the same, use alternative contraceptive measures as condom or else till your doc prescribes the alternative which is safer for you.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
