Hello,

I can understand your concern. As the patient is taking Nitrofurantoin, it is common to have nausea, vomiting, headache and loss of hunger. These are the side effects of this antibiotic and it does not indicate any severe disease.

If she will take the medication after food, the nausea may be relieved. In addition, she can start with Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg + Domperidone 30 mg (Veloz-D) twice a day till the course of antibiotics complete.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish the patient feels better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
