What Causes Nausea And Headache While Taking Nitrofurantoin For Bladder Infection?

Having bladder infection with pink on tissue and next I will be passing clots. Dr.has me on nitrofurantoin mono-mcr 100mg. Making me nauseous, terrible headache and ache all over. Used to take ciprofloxacin hcl25 mg with no side affects. Any suggestions? Thank you. Email YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
Nitrofurantin tablet has side effect of having nausea and vomiting.
Take this medicine with full stomach or change of medicine like Ciprofloxacilin as you had it before in the place of Nitrofurantine.
Consult your doctor and discuss about this.
