What Causes Nausea And Itching While On Lexapro?

Have been taking Lexapro for four days but on the fifth the side effects became unbearable so quit taking it. The nausea was more than I could handle, along with a body itching. How many days will this stay in my system. Do you have any suggestions to help.

It stays in the body for a while with half of it leaving every day. Hence daily dosing. But for the nausea probalby only most of it has to go away this would be about 2 to 3 days. One gets allergic responses to small amounts of medicine and this would be a reason for fairly rapid treatment by a doctor to make sure the allergy doesn't get worse or fatal. The allergic reacton could easily go for a week.
